The series are from the South of Norway, just a few hours drive from Stavanger. We have not had the spectacular fall colours in the mountains this year. I guess it is because of the nice and warm weather. On a recent hike I had an exciting experience with two Golden Eagles. One of them dived to catch something on the ground. After a minute of battle, the eagle set off with the prey in his claws. As I was around one km away I was unable to see what it was, but I did manage to take ten shots with my 500mm. The picture here is the second shot in the series. There is a lot of lemmings in the mountains this year, good news for birds of prey.
